SENTANA

WRAPPED︎CHRISTO AND JEANNE CLAUDE

︎PACKAGING: Christo and Jean Claude
Packaging, Installation Art, Photography & Shibari

Inspired by the Jean Claude and Christo installation art, we were challenged to select a noteworthy seat in our environment, wrap it artistically, and intricately display it. The objective was to transform something mundane into a piece of art, paying homage to the iconic artists' vision of reimagining everyday objects in a captivating way.

I reinvented the concept by choosing a regular chair as the object to wrap and display. The focus was on the wrapping itself, using shibari wrapping techniques to create a malevolent aura that contrasted with the chair's surroundings.

The packaging project thus aimed to infuse creativity and innovation into the mundane, akin to the avant-garde works of Jean Claude and Christo within the realm of installation art.

This design aimed to evoke a sense of duality between good and bad, pure and mischievous, resulting in an eerie and mystical vibe that captured attention and sparked contemplation.

BODYBAG

︎PACKAGING: BODYBAG
Packaging, Installation, Project Thinking

For this packaging project, the challenge was to produce a macro packaging item that could serve as a body bag or casket. The chosen narrative was set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by Tetris-loving robots, depleting the human population, giving this briefing a twist, by incorporating a lighthearted tone to the concept of death.

The primary focus was on creating a structurally sound packaging product that could hold a human body to scale without collapsing, showcasing both creativity and technical proficiency in the execution of the design.
